About Us [1]

Research Compliance Services (RCS) was created at the University of Oregon as a central research integrity office to help faculty, staff, and students navigate complex federal and state research compliance regulations, so that innovative and collaborative research may flourish. RCS partners with other research units to coordinate the activities of various compliance oversight committees.

UO researchers, students, staff and administrators may call on RCS staff [2] for assistance with training, policies, procedures or compliance related problem-solving. If you require assistance, please contact us [3].

Visit Sponsored Projects Services [4] (formerly ORSA) for information on regulations, policies and procedures related to sponsored projects.

If you are seeking grants from the National Institutes of Health or the National Science Foundation, you may be required to provide education and training in the responsible conduct of research (RCR). Visit our RCR page [5] to learn about these requirements and find RCR training resources.

You may be required to submit a data management plan as part of your research proposal. Visit the UO Libraries' data management planning page [6] for information on funding agency requirements and guidance on developing a plan.
